That is very nice.
That is very nice.
Cool addition, Simon! That is a very fine copy indeed!
Beautiful copies of DT1 & TGWLTG. Congratulations, Simon.
That's either the best worst copy of that book I've ever seen, or else the worst best copy I've ever seen. I can't decide which. Whichever, it's GREAT!

Big delivery today, including 2 packages I was not expecting at all! (more on that later)
Some nice new CD slipcases, 2 x CTCC (1 for the US edition and one for the anomaly) plus a Hearts in Suspension
Also got this fun little item. It's basically SK's early years in comic book format:
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Now for the big guns - 2 new S/L's. Amazingly I am now nearing the big Five-O of signed limited's... Both these have some flaws, but these are so hard to find in mint condition.
Danse Macabre #78 - The slipcase has some issues (I am working with Jeff to create an identical replica) but the book is Fine
Cycle of the Werewolf #308 I have replaced the VG Dust Jacket with a N/Fine one, but unfortunately it doesn't have the original slipcase. (I don't suppose anyone has a spare? No, thought not )

And now those surprise packages...
Dez (dnemec) had kindly ordered an Owen King Signed copy of SB for me, but unfortunately the book got damaged due to bad packaging by Oblong. What I didn't know is tha Dez complained and Oblong sent new copies again dedicated by Owen! So now I have 2! Thanks Dez!
Loving the purple pen!

I have NO IDEA who sent the last package (it was sent from 'Secret Satan'). But whoever you are THANK YOU! its fantastic!
This is a professionally bound copy of the Plant, created from the original PDF's issued by SK and bound in leather with additional artwork. I happen to know who created this (and a few other copies) as they sent me the original files a few years ago. As that member is not a frequent visitor to the site these days, I doubt it was them that sent it. I have also been told that this wasn't from my official SS, so I have no idea what I have done to deserve such a wonderful gift, but I am extremely grateful.
Here it is with my other recently acquired rebound copy:

Is the smaller book only part one?
Does the larger book have the full story?
Who did the art, and may we see some more of the art?
Beautiful books.
Smaller book is the full story as published to date (so Book one rather than part one)
The larger book is the same, full story as published, but the fonts and layout are nicer, as is the quality of paper used.
I believe the art was sourced from readily available images on line.

Those PLANTs are great. They look fantastic.

That’s so cool, Simon and a great gift!
My pleasure, Simon. I wish I could also claim that Plant - that is so cool! But then again, you are more than deserving!
Simon is a great guy, no doubt about it.

The Illustrated Stephen King by James Van Hise
This next one came up for sale on one of the SK Facebook Groups, a very nice gentleman named Andrew agreed to met up in a pub near my works offices to hand deliver it to me.

You had me going with the plastic cover on this one...It looked like it was a hardcover book so I had to go check my copy
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Also nice excuse to HAVE to go to the pub.
That is all awesome stuff. Congrats on getting some great stuff to add your collection.
I hope you didn't spill any warm beer on it.
