to me, there's only two incarnations of Sabbath, Ozzy and Dio

So, you're "young" then? Black Sabbath was the original "Metal" and the absolute "Thang" in the day!!! Trivia, "Led Zepplin" was considered "Metal" back in the day and I suppose they qualified to a certain extent. We just didn't have the "plethora" of "music compartments" back when "FM Radio" was young!! LOL

Metallica, Queen, Megadeth, Quiet Riot,(showing my age a bit there...lol) Twisted Sister, Pantera, Queensryche, and to slow it all down, Pat Bennetar.
fave song used on a fave show.
Does whatever a spiderman does.
that festival is called The Fuckparade, nowadays the FACG consider it a demonstration
1999:
I saw Metallica and their opening act was...Queensryche!!! I was so amped! I had such a taste for amphetamines (drugs are bad,m'k) I was soo exciting. Geoff Tate did a masterful job, with the limited time, and doing what he could with Mindcrime. A class "A" light show...followed by METALLICA!!
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
in my opinion nothing says fuck off like this song

Rammstein and Metallica are the ones to make me tick. More Rammstein than Metallica these days though.
Anthrax!!!
This is my wife's new favorite band (can't go wrong with a vocalist who sounds like the mutant offspring of Rob Halford, King Diamond and Bruce Dickinson!). If you get the chance, check out the whole album, it's pretty diverse (but metal all the way )
This is the opening track of the album. Check out the singer! He looks like a 25-year old Saruman
Great sound all around. I will have to loo into them further.
They're Australian and I think this is their first album.
"Oh, you come from a land down under?
Where women glow and men plunder?
Oh great, I know that's going to get stuck in my mind now.

my favorite study music is the Pacific Rim soundtrack. It makes me feel badass.
