I know, I know. I'm supposed to be working on Christmas... But sometimes, you just need to treat yourself! So... I ended up with some new Joe Hill items.

Starting off with The Surrealist's Glass chapbook:




Tales from the Darkside Scripts arrived yesterday from Amazon:




Last week when eBay had a $15 off coupon, I took advantage and ordered Voluntary Committal:






And of course the CD Special Joe Hill edition. I really love the art on the cover of this!



Santa is bringing one of the big Hill items on my list, so my list keeps getting shorter!

My 74/75 limited is now 2 days overdue as the USPS decided to send in on a grand tour of Mass, my local comic shop recieved everything from their distributer except my TFTDS and it isn't likely to be in for at least another week, and then I show up here to see ALL YOUR AMAZING STUFF!!!!!!!!

Seriously, very nice stuff indeed. First time I've heard of Voluntary Committal. Many of them out there?

My 74/75 limited is now 2 days overdue as the USPS decided to send in on a grand tour of Mass, my local comic shop recieved everything from their distributer except my TFTDS and it isn't likely to be in for at least another week, and then I show up here to see ALL YOUR AMAZING STUFF!!!!!!!!

Sorry about your postal issues, Chris. I have had severe issues with USPS in the past and I sympathize.

I can't remember where I first heard of Voluntary Committal (might have been an interview someone sent me that he'd done with Joe after I bought a Joe book from him on eBay, if that makes any sense). Anyway, there were 250 numbered and 26 lettered. The story is in 20th Century Ghosts, but this was the first appearance. It was just one of those unusual things that I had to have, especially as you guys have made me into some type of Joe Hill collecting goddess. Actually, I kinda like the sound of that...

Why thank you, Kris! I bought the signature card on eBay and made the matte myself. Took me awhile to find a good quote that wasn't too long (those letters were placed individually!), but I am happy with it!

I have been terribly neglecting my thread, which is amusing as I have been on a bit of a buying spree. Damn all the good deals!

Let's start out with the lovely gifts from my SS (whose I identity I still don't know):

Underneath the tree this year, I got 2 great ones checked off my list:









Apparently, I was a very good girl this year!

Unfortunately, when I opened my Desperation to take a pic, the glue on one side of the traycase gave up the ghost. So if anyone has suggestions for a good archival adhesive, let me know. Just my luck!
