PS Publishing - Stephen King Anniversary Editions

I would like to buy this book and wish we had a larger run I fear as fast as I will try to clic "buy" ... I will have no chance. Might I ask how many on this forum will try... Saying the price is... Under 3k? US dollars that is... I for one would be one of them.

No other publisher runs a lottery for their books. They simply announce a date and time and it's then every man/woman for him/herself. No messing about required.

Lonely Road Books also held a lottery for Blockade Billy.

I would like to know this. I want to make sure I am ready to clic "buy" in time. I will spend up to 3k but think this book will prob be around 2ish I am thinking...

I have some great memories of 11/22/63. I just sold my last copy last week, and financed some sweet purchases with it.

I think PS should set the price so high that only 26 people are willing to buy it. They should hold an Auction where everyone submits their bids, and then everyone pays the 26th highest bid (is that a Dutch auction?) to maximize the price, they should have Cemetery Dance run the auction.

This approach would definitely minimize the "flippers" out there. Minimize the profit margin and you minimize the flippers. Plus....few people (of those whose initial bid was less than the 26th person's) would be willing to pay more.

I'm amazed that there are so many King Signed Lettered collectors on here all-of-a-sudden.

Not really...I think it's more the fact that this may perhaps be the only signed/limited of Carrie. I personally don't own any lettered editions...other than that of GONE GIRL (when it arrives from CD), but I would be interested in the Carrie lettered if the price wasn't too crazy high.

I collect King signed limiteds.. whether it be lettered or S/L's. I have more S/L's obviously but like the Gunslinger41 says... you may never see another one of these actually signed by King. I am surprised they got King to sign it... over the set from CD though...

This is so far beyond my comfort zone and budget (if I had $2500 to blow I'd pick up my Holy Grail, the S/L of THE STAND) that it's all moot to me. But I wish whoever is going after a copy best wishes for success.

I agree. Given the chance to buy Carrie or The Stand, I would take The Stand every time. That is the one I am saving for.

Thank You, God. PS please help me get a copy of the S/L of Carrie. I am sure i am not the first to ask you, but i was not one of those fighting. PSS In case you are not clued in, there are only 26, price is not yet announced. Can you do some devine intervention on PETE and get him to keep the price within my credit card limit. Or work on my Credit card company to up the limit, or better yet, let me win the lottery.

Not surprising to me. I would not bother with the Lettered if there were a less expensive SK-signed numbered edition. I imagine I am not the only one.
