The currency exchange rate at the time of Carrie was much higher than it is today -- or conversely if your money is GBP. Just take a look at the approximate issue announcement date, take the original price and multiply it by the exchange rate (GBP to USD), then add the numbers to get the total issue price of all books in USD. It shouldn't take too long to get the answer.

Which would be in line with the price increase of the numbered PS anniversary editions. Take The Tommyknockers, the previous title, also released as a three-volume set: £69.99. The Stand (numbered) sold for £125 - an increase of over 50%!$4500 US would be a substantial increase. That would be over 30%.Rumour has it stand is $4250-4500 US.

Confirmed as a two volume set for £3,600 (with a two instalment payment plan) with an "early Spring publication"... UK Spring starts in March, if I'm not mistaken!??
A lot of signed King Books, limited to 26 lettered copies and I have the whole set! I owe Tippy a big thanks for talking me into keeping the set going. I would like to believe a full set is worth a lot more than issue price! Signed Carrie! Night Shift! Tommyknockers! Worth the price of admission right there!

There were published as one volume for the Lettered. The size of The Stand Uncut has been divided into two, due to its size.

I get the need for two volumes, but still hope they do a single traycase. It can be done. Maybe they are worried about damage during shipping?
