    For your consideration is a Gift Edition of Stephen King’s Desperation WITH original art by the famous Don Maitz!
    Don Maitz did the original art for Captain Morgan Rum.
    In as new condition.

    100% of the net proceeds of this auction go to The Haven Foundation. Originally founded by Stephen King, The Haven Foundation is a national, non-profit organization making grants to freelance writers and artists experiencing career-threatening illness, accident, natural disaster or other emergency or personal catastrophe.

    I would encourage all members to let the auction run its course in good faith and the items will sell at the established current market value. Not entirely comfortable with concerted efforts to run up the price but recognizing the cause, have been willing to look the other way while buying items in the spirt of the charity.

    Bought a lot of items last year.......nice ones at that!

    Yeah, if you've donated the item to begin with, you've already done your part for the fundraiser I reckon. No need to bid on the auction to up he price too. Promote it all you want however.

    That is one of Don's trademarks. Trademarks is probably not the right word but finding his name in his artwork is part of the fun. He can be pretty sneaky and innovative.
