We now have enough members to form a “movement”.
Or something.
Has anybody received there copies yet? Curious to hear, the pictures look great, in my opinion better than the lettered.
There is no set of pictures I have seen that indicate the Roman numeral editions are superior to the lettered editions.
Bill from Sub Press publicly stated they were no where near as fancy/elaborate as the lettered books.
Obviously since there were only 10 made, they are more rare than the 52 lettered editions, but that doesn't in any way mean they are a superior production.
Any thoughts like that are likely from a person trying to justify their spending such a large amount.

The inside of the tray case is plain white card, other than that the absence of anything embossed on the book and tray case gives it quite a special presence. The two different shades of blue are really quite exceptional.
I was expecting a far lower standard after the comments made, however this is not the case.
I purchased it purely for the rarity.
Nonetheless you will not be disappointed if you are expecting a copy.
I've added these to Alec's thread, but it made sense to post them here as well:
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
SO BEAUTIFUL!
Congratulations! I love it!

It looks blue in the photos, but it's actually black, isn't it?
Quite striking, bold, simple design.

Beautiful! I like them so much more now knowing they are that lovely shade of blue rather than the genre-standard black.

Just stunning. The blue leather and iridescent traycase material are gorgeous.
Is there any printing on the spine of book or case?

That book is pretty.. BUT I hate that they don't have a special signature page. For me, that takes SO MUCH away from it.

The leather on the book is BLACK Leather, Traycase Blue with grey textured inside, this is what my copy looks like and after talking with other buyers sounds like there's are the same. I agree Patrick it is a Beautiful book too bad the regular lettered didn't have this design, but if it did I guess the 217 wouldn't.
