Welcome to TDT.org, EBV! Congrats on the arrival of your little one!
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
Thanks, Patrick!
teefury.com has two designs for order today.
Remarques for Rogue from SP:
Ken Laager to Add Remarques to ROGUES -- Only 50 Available!
If you have a copy of the Signed Limited or Lettered Edition of Rogues (edited by George R. R. Martin and Gardner Dozois) on order, we have the perfect way to make your copy unique.
Ken Laager has agreed to produce fifty large remarques that will be bound in Rogues. A remarque is an original drawing by the artist, in this case, on a special sheet to be bound into the book, which makes that copy of the book a unique collectible.
By the time we send copies the editors, and a few other folks, there will actually be fewer than fifty for sale, making these sketches true rarities.
Best of all, you can choose which story you'd like Ken to draw his image from! If you have a story preference, please include it in the comments section when checking out.
Remarques are $249 each, and because there are only 50 of them, are sure to go fast.

Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
I'm selling my ACOK sub press edition #110 for $700 pp gift if anyone is interested
I think the original drawings will be great, but I'm not sinking an extra $250 into this book to get one.

PC Copy Clash with rights for Game of thrones anyone ?
http://subterraneanpress.com/store/p...clash_of_kings
I don't think you get rights to AGOT with a PC copy.
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
"Purchasing A Clash of Kings will give you the right of first refusal for our edition of A Game of Thrones, but NOT for The Winds of Winter."
for all the other special deals they put on today, they also changed the description regarding this sale (look at the king deal) so this
i what you buy at the moment. As long as it is declared as that, you have the right for AGOT - at least in my understanding of e-commerce
If not, they would have removed this.
They didn't change the original description copy. I would contact Bill to be sure.
They added the SK book deal at the top but didn't add Doctor Sleep description.
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
and they are gone, hope somebody got one!
@becca69
jupp didn't change it - so it comes with rights - no reason for me to think anything else.
If you buy something you should trust that you get what they offer - don't you think ;D
RATS!!!! Being in Colorado by the time I see the email they are always sold out!
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
I agree. The original product page was just opened back up to allow for the new PC copies to be ordered. I doubt they would offer a future PC copy for AGoT. They would need to hold their PC copies to make sure they were not needed elsewhere. Then they would probably offer them for sale as well.
I do not know what they had in mind or what they said somewhere before, but what they did is to sell a PC with rights for AGoT - that is what was up and online when you purchased the books and was clear stated in the products page. For me there is no doubt about that.
They can't f.e. sell a shining + Dr. sleep bundle and then say oh its only dr. sleep sorry.
Either it was a mistake, then they would have to inform the customers and offer a solution for this, or it was intended then you have the rights, what i expect from a company like that.
Oh and yes - i bought one (not surprising , hum ;D)
and in my opinion it was a great deal even 200 over issue price, including the rights (what i checked before i bought it, and what was the reason to buy it)
Priest, so did Bill tell you that you could buy a PC AGOT? They usually just use the original product page without making those revisions. They do it all the time.
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
Hey, if you get rights to a PC AGoT, then congrats. I'm just saying that over the past few years, whenever they have extra copies to sell, they simply reactivate the original product page and list them for sale. I've just never seen a publisher guarantee someone a PC copy of a future book. They usually only print so many copies of them marked PC and use them if needed.
Hey becca, hey ELazansky
I appreciate your opinion, but that would be a big faux pas - if this would be true =( don't you think ?
I do not know what they "do usually" or have done "over the past few years"
I do not know "Bill" sorry, but i bought a book from a product page that stated:
"Purchasing A Clash of Kings will give you the right of first refusal for our edition of A Game of Thrones"
If it was a mistake by sub, that would be some kind of awkward...
I mean, it is like selling a S/L and then ups its is only a Limited - wrong info was online - sorry - ah - never mind - that happens from time to time ;D
it makes a huge difference if you get one book or a book with rights for a second one especially on a PC level.
can't imagine that something like this just "happens"...
will drop them a mail, but i am a litte unsettled now.
Contacting them is the best thing to do. Again, they have always just reopened a product page for the extra and PC sales. I don't know if they've ever had anyone question that it is only for the one PC copy and no rights. In general, PC copies usually don't come with any sort of future rights.
I'm sure they would cancel your order if you choose to do so. And if not, you still got a copy under market value.
