Wow really? Wolves was my LEAST favorite of the series. Maybe it's just me but I feel like he rushed the last three books.

LOL, actually the opinion that the last volumes are rushed and don't hold a candle to the first ones has always been prevaling (we have lots of threads on this). That is why bears so cherish those freaks who appreciate the last books - especially Wolves.

wouldn't venture any opinion on Caddyshack 1 or 2 - whatever they are - but yes, I think that Wolves is a masterpiece, inasmuch as it deals with the most important things that show King at his best - a community of people in the face of unspeakable evil, ethic dilemmas, price of betrayal and its numerous faucets, (im)possibility of making a stand, passive and active resistance vs. submission to fate; finally, the gunslingers actually doing something that at last shows what gunslingering is all about.
