"Make a dragon wanna retire, man" - a coworker misheard that as "Mick Jagger wanna retire..."

The Israelities by Desmond Decker. It was a song (reggae/ska) that was on the charts in late 68 into 69. I was listening to the radio and that song was playing when I opened my letter from uncle sam inviting me to go on a little camping trip with him and some other young boys. I couldn't get that song out of my head for months. If I hear it to this day the hair stands up on the back of my neck and it get's stuck in my head again.

I had this song in a dream last night.I entered a room where lyrical snippets of this song were written on index cards an pasted all over the walls...weird! But a great, haunting, sad tune!

Someone at work mentioned a bad reputation, which lead to this song getting stuck in my head. Now I just wanna go home and watch Kingpin...
This Prince song gets stuck in my head more than any other Prince song. Not so much the dirty lyrics but the beat and weird composition of it. I don't think I've ever heard another song quite like it.
