Finally got round to getting one of these beautiful cases from Tomas/TheCollector for my S/L 11-22-63:
Love the case and love the book, one of my top 10 favorite King novels.
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
That case is amazing, isn't it?!
And nice grab on the signed Bachman Books!
Very cool case and I'm a fan of the book as well!

Just got one myself as you know. It really is a top notch case and enhances the book greatly.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Very nice...
Yet another inscribed JH for the collection:
I now have 3 copies of this one. 2 signed and 1 unsigned.
Collectors are weird
Nice! congratulations Alan. Back in the day, Portent and Creed were the first 1st editions I bought of Herbert. Before that were just BCEs. Brings back memories as I was living in Leeds at the time. Remember buying them in Waterstones. Must have been over 25 years ago.
Any mention of Herbert also brings back memories for me, as you know. It was Portent that was his next book out at the time I did that phone interview and I remember him answering a question about it. Nice one Alan.
Got my WH Smith editions in the post today:
Nice! I can't wait until my bookshelves are groaning under all the SLEEPING BEAUTIES I've ordered.

Very nice book!
I guess the others are reserved?
Thanks guys and yes, the other 2 copies are spoken for I'm afraid.
Nice, Alan! Love those WH Smith purple variants!
