    Was the journey really unexpected?

    Spoiler:
Peter: "I don't like my job, and, uh, I don't think I'm gonna go anymore."

well, for 1 member of the journey who shares stature and sensibility with me... I decided during that movie that Bilbo was my spirit animal.

I am also going to see it again tomorrow

I haven't seen it yet. I had hoped to see it this week, but it looks like I'll be going after Christmas. Just too much to do.

Well, I think you would love it. Realistic and dark approach to time travel. It doesn't have that cartoony, graphic novelish feel that most of the science fiction movies has. Like Timecrimes.

Honestly I didn't really care for it. It started off ok, but by about an hour in I was pretty bored
Oh and it might have one of the worst endings to a film. Has anyone else here seen it?

Well that sucks. I had high hopes for it, being an Oliver Stone film and all, but after reading so many dismal reviews I lost hope. I might watch it someday out of morbid curiosity.

Wow! What a great year for film. I think this might have been the best year for movies that I've ever seen. I saw a record number 37 films in theaters this year, which speaks to how good of a year it was. That being said, my overall list has fallen every year by 20 since my record setting 2010 mark of 160 movies watched. This year I watched 117 movies. Still a lot, but not as many as I expected. Life, TV, Sports and other things factored into this I think.

I should be able to get my 2013 list off to a strong start because I've yet to see Django and Zero Dark Thirty, among a few other films.

Happy movie watching and Happy New Year.
