    I don't think so, it's standard operating practice. What King is working on next usually slips out through an interview or he gives it away during some event he's been asked to do. It doesn't get put on the website until the publisher decides its time to start promoting the new book.

    Putting it up early would just be asking for trouble anyway, until it's up on the site it's not an official project meaning King can easily abandon it, can you imagine the stink that would be kicked up if the book was announced on the site then cancelled later?, or if it was up on the site then didn't come out for another 18 months.
