"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
I like remaining dark and mysterious....
But seriously, once I figure out how to post pics(I have your tutorial Brian I just haven't tried it yet so don't get all huffy because I said this )and I get the time to take the pics I will. Although I know it won't be as exciting as most others!
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
At the end of the day, there is a finite number of SK books and apart from the select few, it's rare for anyone to post anything "original" in their collection thread. But thats not the point, It's seeing how another collector arranges and displays their books, it's comparing condition and maybe seeing some nuance in a book you already have, but never noticed before, it's the envy when you see a book they have, but you don't or (admit it, we all do it ) the little bit of inner gloating when its a book you have and they don't...
All this and more is what makes new collection threads so exciting!
