    When it comes to the amount of fake shit that floods eBay on a daily basis, a seller's feedback rating is absolutely irrelevant.

    A lot of people don't realise that they have been conned and will leave positive feedback. It certainly doesn't deter from the fact they have been ripped off.

    You'd be surprised what contacting the seller of a questionable eBay auction can do. There have been many, many times that forum members have sent messages to sellers questioning their claims. It's up to the seller, but on many occasions, they take the auction down.

    I've followed this thread for a while (been very helpful in steering me away from scammers + teach me to better identify fake items). Noticed something today while searching eBay for a 1st edition of IT. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Stephen-king-...%257Ciid%253A1

    The signature looks fake to me but I'll leave it for the experts here to confirm.
