    on a side note, I just had a series of bitchy exchanges with rwsellers on ebay! he bought a signed book from me right before christmas (Good Omens, signed by both Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett) and then cancelled the purchase immedietely after the auction ended. He sent me a message saying he didnt realise it wasnt a true first...despite me saying in the description which version it was, AND including a clear photo of the copyright page!
    Just to avoid having to deal with timewasters anymore that needed, I agreed to cancel the purchase and relisted the book...

    but He then starts sending me a series of ebay messages calling me a loser and a fraud etc etc and saying how he was reporting ME to ebay! Is he like 5 years old or something?
    (I just replied to each one asking if he didnt read the original description and/or look at the photos)

    He is now blocked, but I would certainly warn others to proceed with caution with him. he seems a bit of a loose cannon..... I still dont really know what his problem is/was with me..

    (oh and as sellers cant leave negative feedback to buyers, I left him a negative comment in a positive feedback post!).

    There is nothing wrong with this signature, completely legit.
    Also your "To vs For" concept ?? , nothing wrong with either.

    I thought it was good too. Like I said a bad seller listed it. I think people should be aware of that.

    I think Bob had put forth the For/To theory. It seems there are some To inscriptions. For seems far more common though.

    I just sold a First Edition copy of The Shining with the following listing: Stephen King THE SHINING First Edition R49 VG+ book in NF DJ *Beautiful!*. Had 10 or so photos showing all points and features.

    I just noticed that someone else copied my exact same listing title description to try to pass off a crappy BCE with three crappy photos showing nothing but crap. NO R49; NO First Edition; NO NF DJ; and certainly NO *Beautiful!*

    I don't know why I'm taking this personally; but I kindof am. (How much trouble would it have been to draft up his own listing title, rather than crib mine???). Sad!

    I understand the premise of looking at similar auctions and using it for ideas (did something similar for a Coach bag I sold recently as I don't normally list these). It is a good place to start, but you have to tailor it to YOUR auction. People are just lazy - I think that covers it!

    My question is why would the 'Salem's Lot and The Shining Portfolio (which has not been announced by the way) be signed by Tomislav Tikulin. Just stupid.
