I saw a few more that were shall we say, questionable. It's like they aren't even trying anymore.
All it takes is one sucker even at $75.00. Can't get over how some of these sellers still have a 100 % rating
Man thats so bad, even if you've never seen a SK signature, you should still know that's fake.

Ok I won this auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/stephen-king...72.m2749.l2649
There is no mention of any defects, and he only provides picture of one side of the slipcase. But when I get it I see these defects on the other side:
Scuff Marks:
Major bumped corner:
Just notice the seller does not offer returns. So what is the best course of action? Do I ask for a return anyway? Or ask for a partial refund or just open a complaint with ebay?

eBay's Money Back Guarantee states the following:
I think you would have a good reason to straight up return the item, making the case that it "arrived faulty or damaged." I'm not an eBay expert, so this is just what I would do. Others should weigh in as well...Originally Posted by eBay
Contact the seller via the resolution center and request a return as the book has damage that wasn't disclosed. Attach the pics of damage to the request. If he declines, escalate the request (ebay/PP will give the buyer a little time to respond, so be patient), ultimately, ebay will very likely rule in your favor, and likely even issue a return shipping label.
Thanks everyone for the advise. Will do as RF suggests.

Ok, he has offered a partial refund, and it sounds like he will accept the return if I go that route. I have until Sunday to decide. He has offered a $50 refund, so that would make the cost $250.
I am not a stickler about having no defects in my books, but if there are defects I prefer to know ahead of time so I can make a decision if it is worth it or not. This book, isn't exactly a needful thing for me, so having a pristine copy is not a big deal, but if I am accepting a defect want to make sure I am paying a reasonable price.
So what do you think, is $250 a reasonable cost given the defects?
Thanks,
Mike

Counter offer for a $75 rebate.
Be polite, but clear that if not $75 , you respectfully would want to return the book.
