Has anybody seen the final season of The Killing on Netflix?

Yup.
It was ok.
There is a plot point that makes the characters act in ways that was kind of hard to believe.
I wasn't as impressed with it as much as I liked the other seasons, but I still think it is worth watching, especially if you have seen all the other seasons

Final season of Sons of Anarchy starts tomorrow night!
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
Been catching up with The Lottery. Not bad.
This is an interesting article on US remakes of UK/European hit TV shows: http://www.bleedingcool.com/2014/09/...adi-tantimedh/
Anyone watching Outlander? Is there a thread?
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
Started it, stopping watching it after the first episode. Too talky.
Wow Shannon, way to give it a chance - haha

Sons of Anarchy season seven premiere. I liked it a lot, but without spoiling anything, it's like the producers were trying their damndest to get us to not like Jax.
I got the same feeling Shannon!

Spoiler:
No books, completely new! Last night's episode was great! Only one left till their mid-season break. Wonder when it comes back.
Been watching The Blacklist lately. Currently on episode 13. I like it very mucho.
They've changed a few things, but I think it works. I know they are ending mid-season with a cliff-hanger. It's coming back in 2015 (I hope sooner than later). Season 2 has been picked up - not sure if they will break up book 2 or make it a whole season?
Also, Sleepy Hollow season 2 just started

So, found out David Fincher's going to be remaking Utopia for HBO, and that he'll be directing every episode. (http://collider.com/david-fincher-ut...o/#more-362713)
For those that don't know, that's not that reality show that's appearing on Fox or whatever the hell it's on, but instead a UK conspiracy drama that started all the way back in...well, in 2013.
And that's the problem. See, I love a lot Fincher's work. I've certainly enjoyed his remake of House of Cards and could really see the point of that - considering the original was not only 20 years old but was so politically focused, adapting it to fit US modern day politics actually made sense, even with a slower pace, as it really fleshed out some of the characters more. But in this case...for something that's not even 2 years old and deals with something as international as geek culture and conspiracies, I can't see the point as much for this. Along with Fargo and True Detective, Utopia has definitely been one of my favourite new shows of the last couple of years. (Incidentally, if this version was more like Fargo in that it was set in the same universe but focused on a different story, or at least, focused on a more American side to the conspiracy with brand new characters, I'd be a lot more interested for something like that instead of a straighforward remake.)
On the other hand, it might raise the profile of the original and finally get it shown over there. Would be great to discuss it with some of you guys on the other side of the pond.
Here's a trailer for the original, btw:

Started and ended Extant after two episodes. Skimmed through the rest of the season and I'm glad I stopped.
It had its good episodes and not-do-good ones but overall I really enjoyed the entire season (and probably series, since it looks like a renewal seems iffy).
A NEW GAME BEGINS
Same here, interesting premise but doesn't seem to get anywhere.
