I want to watch it because Kat Dennings has big jugs.
I want to watch it because Kat Dennings has big jugs.
Reminds me of the bit Adam Sandler used to do, where he said his girlfriend was smarter than him and used to say things like "you take me to new plateaus of love etc." but he just thinks for a minute and finally comes up with "you got big jugs. I like your jugs."
Eastasia has always provided Drag Queen Story Hour to young children.
Not sure if this YouTube show was mentioned, but anyone see Impulse? First season was a bit slow but has a good premise or plot. Liked it overall. Season 2 came out the other day and just started watching it.

Did anybody watch Treadstone? I'm not sure about adding. I can't be adding more stuff and I have a feeling going to be a watered-down version of the Bourne films.

I have a bit of a beef I'd like to air out. Bear in mind that I am in no way the student of the media that some of you folks are. I'm also a Republican (Evil, right?).
I enjoy the "Political drama's" as a rule. Shows such as The West Wing, Madam Secretary, House of Cards and Designated Survivor to name a few off the top of my head. In all these shows POTUS is generally portrayed by a Democrat and almost always they are "doing the right thing" above everything else, virtually ineach and every "Crisis". It seems that the Repulicans are always "saying or doing the wrong thing" and well, it just seems like it has gotten to the level of full on "Propganda" with a clear agenda.
Maybe its okay for the generally rich and liberal folks to propogate their agenda because they're paying for it, but come on shouldn't there be some kind of balance or some such? I mean the right doesn't really have any kind of a voice in these things. Then people fry things like the Fox news network. Isn't that a little hypocritical? And the Left's agenda isn't only being forwarded in political drama's but in comedy shows as well like, Bill Maher, Last week tonight with John Oliver and on and on. Where's the equality in all of this? or, am I, as usual completely off base and horrifically wrong? I suspect the latter, but chime in folks I'm eager to hear what others have to say on the subject.
Bill...you should try Full Frontal With Samantha Bee. She is fair, balanced and unbiased! (I almost typed that with a straight face!!!)
But yes, I get your point, I see it well. It is not a new thing. Pick something as seemingly mundane as Star Trek (in any version) and it won't be long before you see a political statement with a left slant...even the old ones with the Expedia.com/Priceline guy!!
It is just the nature of things that those with a liberal mindset tend to dominate the arts and education. Conservatives have their own bastions as well.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
Anyone else watching Mr. Robot with Rami Malek and Christian Slater?
There was a nice little easter egg in this week's episode to Pump Up the Volume. There was a character in an online chat with someone named HappyHardonHenry.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?

I don't have cable so I didn't know this was the last season. I love the show and will be glad it will end on a high note and not 38 seasons later like Supernatural.

"See"
I don't know what I am watching as I have a million questions for the blind. If everyone on the planet was blind, would you be able to build things? Would you be able to simply walk around mountains and traverse the countryside? Would you be able to fight with swords? Where would you find the swords? Would your hearing spike like Daredevil? Could you ride a horse? How would you capture a horse to ride? I think I needs these questions answered for the asinine plot of this show. This truly is a true fantasy show that is perhaps more unrealistic then teleportation in Star Trek (though one day that could become a reality).
Here we have another apocalyptic event where most people are dead and humanity completely unravels and starts living lives like tribesman. Blind tribesman. Would this really happen if an event like this would occur? What would happen to all the homes and buildings? Would they just disappear? Would humanity become completely inept to know how to make anything or fix anything? Anyway, the one minor remote thing I like about the show is the scenery. It is a beautiful landscape. Other then that, it is an absolute abomination of a time waste.

I don't have Apple + or max or All Access or whatever the fuck it's called but I've heard a few people say the same things you mentioned. The show has way too many logical questions being asked that there are no answers to.
