Anyone else check out Homecoming on Amazon Prime? Stars Julia Roberts and Bobby Cannavale, plus Sissy Spacek -- it's a half-hour suspense series about a government contractor-run operation that's supposed to reintegrate soldiers. Very mysterious -- directed by Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot).

One of the greatest TV shows ever... okay maybe not ever but it's certainly unique and fascinating and I love it un-guiltily. This looks like a fun watch:

Somebody has to sell me on Killing Eve. I see it winning all of these awards and yet I still have no interest. I also don't know anybody who watches it.
There's something about Oh that annoys me, so I usually stay away from her stuff.

No Dark Shadows fans, huh?
Hulu just recently premiered the 2018 British miniseries Butterfly that I read about last year. It made some waves over there for its empathetic portrayal of a trans kid during a prime time slot. It's only three episodes and I'm only one episode in but I can already tell this is a special series. Great acting all around, highly recommended: https://www.hulu.com/series/butterfl...6-84e726ffa237
It's very emotional and moving, and deals with self-harm so keep that in mind.
Loved Dark Shadows as a kid but barely remember it. So lonnnnng ago.

For anyone who enjoyed BANSHEE, check out TIN STAR on Amazon Prime. Season 2 just dropped. Tim Roth plays the chief of police of a small town in Alberta whose son is murdered during an attempted hit because of [backstory]. It gets wilder and wilder with each episode, and I don't think Roth is without a pistol in his hand for more than a few minutes in S2.

Has anyone seen Alien News Desk on SyFy yet? I watched a few episodes this weekend and thought it was pretty damn funny.
Tin Star: First season is really good with a nice story and character development. Second season to me seemed off the wall and didn't have a good plot. Too unbelievable and how is Roth still allowed to run around???
Umbrella Academy: I felt the characters wined a lot and that was the premise of the story line. I didn't like it.

So I started watching The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix this weekend.
There are some genuinely good bits, creepy and tense, and some great cinematography.. unfortunately this is riddled by every single Horror cliche in the book, and So. Many. Monologues. You can't go 10 minutes without tripping onto a somber, depressing monologue.
At this point I'm wondering if I should stick with it or cut my losses.
That depends, how many episodes in are you?
A NEW GAME BEGINS
Finished Episode 3 last night, Theo's episode. Gonna watch Episode 4 which is apparently Luke-centric.
