Well, AHDN is actually a substitute for "all other Beatles albums"; might have been Help!, Rubber Soul, or Abbey Road just as well... It's always difficult with this one last slot. I might even replace it with The Dark Side of the Moon... or The Book of Taliesyn... or Plastic Ono Band... or something by Jethro Tull or the Rollings... or even Slade In Flame (yes, yes, I know... they are my guilty pleasure)and Hard Days Night

Okay, I can understand AHDN representing any Beatle album. I would lean toward Sgt. Pepper and the White Album, but Abbey Road is a solid choice. Personally though, I could never really get myself to like Dylan performing his own stuff. To me he was a song writer, before a muscian IMHO. He did write some great stuff, just woulda been better off (quality-wise) letting others perform it. Compare "All along the Watchtower" Hendrix or Dylan? Know what I mean?

I don't know much Dylan, though I love what I've heard, but him singing his words makes them feel real. Dylan shares a lot in common with someone like Lou Reed, who is by no means a great singer but his voice singing his lyrics...couldn't be any other way.

As much as I think Kid Rock sucks (Lonely Road of Faith is a great song though) I love this quote by him:

All my favorite singers, Like Bob and Lou and Craig finn and Patrick Stickles, are all pretty bad vocalists by traditional standards, but their lyricism and delivery but them leagues beyond and singer with golden vocal cords.
