Hey all! Not derailing here, I just wanted to thank everyone again for the advice and to update you. I took it all into consideration and have decided to sell a portion of my collection. I had a slapped by Cher in Moonstruck "snap out of it" moment. Like really?? I was considering selling my IT and Misery? Um, negative. I'm going to keep around 20 books and sell the rest. If my benefactor is reading this please know there was never even a question about your gift
I want to complete my firsts with Carrie and Salem's, focus on signed versions of books I personally love, and continue with CD's Doubleday AE's and books like Brian's upcoming Revival. I don't want to stop collecting. It's too fun and there's too many nice folks out there to chat with about it
If anyone is looking for any S/L's or flatsigned items please keep an eye on Bett's over the coming weeks. I know I could offer them up on here with no commission fee but David has been great to me and I want to give something back. Plus, I'm not as picky as some of you and I might possibly grade something wrong or not notice a flaw so I would rather put them in his hands to deal with and grade.
anyone has and idea how many "It" books has been sold worldwide?
Looking for:
S/L: "Insomnia" (#117), "Firestarter", "EOTD #98"
US 1st/1st: "Night Shift"
Portfolios: "'Salem's Lot", "Cycle of Werewolf" (#192)
please help me find any #731 or #431

Trying to figure out my signature count and interested to hear opinions on if a piece signed both King and Bachman would count for 2?
Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you sir for the bonus! Here is what it looks like as I finally figured out how to post pics!

The link you referenced is specifically for books SIGNED BY King (in chronological order). As none of the CD editions for The Shining were signed by King, the book is not listed there.
You CAN however find it in the Alphabetical Index Quick Links
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
How many have specified insurance on your collection and how detailed does one have to be to do it? Do I need to provide detailed pictures and descriptions?
Besides the different versions of Pennywise and two Carries, has NECA done any other SK figurines?
