The great Mr. Peter Crowther has assured me I will receive my THE COLORADO KID, as they are still sending them out.
I was going to ask him for a piece of wedding cake, but I didn't want to push it.

Hi guys, I've decided to take the plunge into collecting the early, 1st edition King paperbacks (both the US and the UK editions, focusing on anything pre-1990). I think there's a few pb collectors here? Would anyone know where I can find a document outlining the 1st edition specifiers of the UK and US 1st pbs? (The US pbs seem self-evident (full number line, Signet, etc) but the UKs seem trickier.
Anybody have an email address for a UK eBay seller called Northend75?
Please PM me if you do.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
U.K.’s will generally say “Reprinted” and a date. We once started creating catalog entries for the paperbacks but don’t remember how far it got. There should be some entries still there you can look at. I also once created this for my own collection. Maybe it’s helpful. It’s by no means complete and also a little rough around the edges. The first two columns should be 1/1’s and the far right are reprints.

First published in 1998, Bag of Bones was an instant #1 New York Times bestseller. It was lauded at its publication as “hands down, Stephen King’s most narratively subversive fiction” (Entertainment Weekly) and his “most ambitious novel” (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution). This anniversary edition serves as a keepsake volume for years to come.

agreed....something not quite right...traced? can't be sure, but have that niggling (is that a word?) doubt.
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
Yes, 'that' is a word.
