This one is in the state of WASHINGTON.
Nope....the book I am looking at is not a SPECIAL ABA edition either. The owner has not confirmed if it has a price on the inside flap of the DJ...but I have seen the front and back.....and there is no ISBN number on the lower left side as there would be in a 1st edition.

On the "Ideal, Genuine Man S/L" catalog page, it says "Published by King’s own press, the S/l differs only from the trade by virtue of the signed limitation page.Printed on Curtis paper using Bemboand Castellar typefaces. The binding was covered with Dutch Scholco cloth. Only 2,700 copies of the trade were printed." Can anyone clarify whether the trade edition has a limitation page, and it just isn't signed, or if it doesn't have a limitation page at all?
Re-stated question to make it more relevant to this thread rather than the "Catalog Questions" thread: I have a copy of "Ideal, Genuine Man" that has an unsigned limitation page at the end. Is that special, or are they all like that?
I just took some pics so show the Trade and the S/L. I'll post them in a while as I'm headed out the door for a DR. appt.

Having not looked at the books closely in a long time, there are a few puzzling things I noticed with my "Trade" edition.
The DJ flap on the S/L lists two prices. $25 for the Limited, and $50 for the Signed Limited. The Trade I have must be the 3rd iteration as it has the ISBN on the flap, and on the rear of the DJ, as well as the US ($25) and Canadian price.
The Trade I have also has a sticker that was adhered to the CR page.
On the limitation page, the difference (besides the limitation number and the signatures) I see is that on the Trade, there aren't initials marking where King and Robertson were to sign.

For those who have the Bachman Books slipcase made by Jeff Whitley, how is the overall fit? I thought I remember some people saying that with the books having different heights, there were issues. How have others housed the four books?
My Roadwork is too tall. If you have Jeff make a case, measure the books yourself to make sure of a good fit. I need to buy another one but will make sure to go off the tallest book when I talk with Jeff.

Agree with Ralph. Use Roadwork as your measurement for height, it is always slightly taller than the other 3.
Also give him exact measurements, he will add tolerances for spacing around the book, don’t be tempted to ‘add’ extra or it will end up too loose. If your books have broadart, measure with broadart ON.

For those who collect the WH Smith editions with purple cover, do you tend to leave the "Collector's Edition" sticker on the DJ, or do you remove it?

I remove the sticker and put it on the Brodart cover.
