    Ive seen a few on ABE and Ebay. The few Ive seen on Ebay were in the 20-30 range while the ABE ones were much higher(shocker). I could be wrong but I don't believe they were exceedingly rare. That doesn't really answer your question but that's what I know

    Very low print for that if I remember correctly. It's been a while since I've seen one for sale.

    That's Paul (zelig). He might give you a deal buying direct.

    I would say it's worth at least twice the starting price (which Alan confirmed). It's not a common proof.

    Thanks for all the help!

    There's already been a bid so no chance of a direct deal. Maybe next time.

    Looking for a little advice and direction.
    What I collect is pretty focused, but if I were to open it up to anything it would probably be to King penned scripts. Its an area of King's writing that I have had limited exposure to, but it is still his writing and I think it would be fun to see.
    I know absolutely nothing about collecting scripts or where to look for a trusted resource. Does anyone have any thoughts to share? Without knowing anything, I would guess that a production used would be most desirable, but are there other things to look for? Because they seem to be mostly photocopies, are there any tell-tale signs that would signify it as a shooting script? Is there a consolidated list of his screenplay credits (I think he did a couple that were never produced as well). In going through IMDB, this is what I could find (spoiler tag to save room):
    Spoiler:
    *2006 Desperation (TV Movie) (novel "Desperation") / (teleplay)
    *2005 Sorry, Right Number (Short) (teleplay)
    X Files - Chinga (1998) ... (written by)
    * The Shining (TV Mini-Series) (novel - 3 episodes, 1997) (teleplay - 3 episodes, 1997)
    - Episode #1.3 (1997) ... (novel) / (teleplay)
    - Episode #1.2 (1997) ... (novel) / (teleplay)
    - Episode #1.1 (1997) ... (novel) / (teleplay)
    * The Stand (TV Mini-Series) (book - 4 episodes, 1994) (teleplay - 4 episodes, 1994)
    - The Stand (1994) ... (book) / (teleplay)
    - The Betrayal (1994) ... (book) / (teleplay)
    - The Dreams (1994) ... (book) / (teleplay)
    - The Plague (1994) ... (book) / (teleplay)
    *1992 Sleepwalkers (written by)
    * Golden Years (TV Series) (created by - 6 episodes, 1991) (writer - 5 episodes, 1991) (story - 2 episodes, 1991)
    - Second Chance (1991) ... (creator) / (writer)
    - Not on My Watch (1991) ... (creator) / (writer)
    - Am I a Winner? (1991) ... (creator) / (writer)
    * Tales from the Darkside (TV Series) (writer - 1 episode, 1987) (story - 1 episode, 1984)
    - Sorry, Right Number (1987) ... (writer)
    *1985 Silver Bullet (novella "Cycle of the Werewolf") / (screenplay)
    *1985 Cat's Eye (screenplay)
    *1982 Creepshow (screenplay) / (short stories "The Crate and Weeds" - uncredited)
    * Storm of the Century (??)
    * Rose Red (??)

    Hopefully needful will chime in. He's been in/around the movie business a long time. Others may also help as obtaining legitimate (not copies of copies) scripts is a tricky business.

    I have a few scripts.

    There are far more fake or copied scripts than real scripts. The problem being that most older scripts are facsimiles anyway.

    Most "signed" scripts are fakes unless obtained from a reputable source.

    There are a few tells as to real v fake scripts.
    • Scripts were/are generally rather plain. If the script is elaborate then it's probably fake.
    • If there are actual working notes/corrections - not photocopied - to the script it is more likely to be real.
    • There are consistencies in the way that studios bound the scripts. If possible make a comparison to a real script.
    • etc.
    Jerome is correct about Bruce being able to add to the conversation.
    "One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."

    Hi boys and girls. Does anyone know if the U.K. First edition Salems fits the series of Dolso cases that were done a while back? I don't have a first US to compare sizing and considering buying one for my U.K. Edition. Thanks.

    You might want to check with Gerald. He has either a script or a press release for The Shining miniseries. And it's signed. My apologies if it isn't the script you're looking for but I just can't recall which item it was.

    There was an unsigned version that originally sold for $4.95. You can get copies on Amazon for $12-$40.

    What Bev said. I don't think there was a s/l of the midnight graffiti. There was a s/l print of rainy season though. 100 signed 50 unsigned.
    To add to this....I'm thinking the 100 signed is bluish green and the unsigned gray scale. I think?????

    I'm pretty sure there was a signed edition of the magazine. I'm wondering the value of this edition, not the print. And is there anyway to tell the differences from the cover only?
    Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.

    I'm not aware of a King signed limited edition of the magazine. If there is one, that would be fascinating.
