Thanks John.
I do not remember where I got the Screen Saverless Box set....But it has no price or barcode.
Spoiler:
Don't forget the Slip cased 1st edition of the complete serial novel. 1st printing May 1997 with full # line 10-1 (I think it is Book Club as it has no price but does have bar code.
Yeah I have that one. Also the flattened box but not the letter.
Go to Book Finder.com put in the ISBN # 0-452-27890-2 & hit 1st edition. Looks like the 3rd one down on the left may be the one it states slipcase or 14th still sealed.
GOOD LUCK!
Those omnibus Green Mile editions in the slipcase are, indeed, BOMC editions, thus no price. I keep my trade first in the slipcase and use the BOMC edition as my reading copy.
John
IMHO I feel this set should be kept intact even though it is a Book Club as I stated before it does have a bar code, ISBN # & full # line that is odd for Book Club editions also this slip cased edition is dated 1997 & the over the counter 1st edition is 1999.(Up date the last part of this statement is untrue.) see below post #10368
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
I use an emulator to play Zork. It's a pain in the butt for the limited enjoyment derived from the game.

Ahh, Burgertime....
My Bad...Just fond My over the counter 1st edition & it is also May 1997.
So except for the price bar these books are identical. But I will still keep the BC Edition in ITS slip case because that is where it belongs. IMHO

Boys and girls. I just picked up a US Buick 8 from a second hand book store. No price on dust jacket but book shows full number line. I'm guessing book club edition? I'm not excited about this, but it came with a Buick 8 poster with a printed King signature. I was just wondering how sought after (if at all) these posters are? I've not come across one myself before.
Yes, the poster was only available with the Book Club Edition; It's a nice reason to get yourself a cheap copy of this, but I've seen them pretty regularly at the Half Price Books so it's not particularly rare or valuable.
