Nothing... I sent him an email last night saying I ordered 2 books from him received only 1 shipping number and that it was for eyeliner not books. So he refunded one of the books, no response. NOw I have to wait the extra week or 2 for the other to not show up so I can request a refund for it. I would NOT buy from this seller any time soon. Username is Zuber. If that's not bad enough they talk about themselves in the 3rd person in their feedback they leave... Just all around bad.
Well, Zuber appears to be a company not an individual, so that would explain the "3rd person". Looking at their feedback, they have a very large number of negatives. Looks like things got particularly bad in the last 6 months, so maybe they have some new idiot on the payroll. Looks like a lot of complaints about cancelled orders. Also, yours was not the only one to mention an amazon box. I suspect they search for good deals on other sites, then sell them for slightly more, and order it from that site. Sometimes they probably get caught when a temporary sale is over and they don't want to lose money, or the other company just runs out of stock.
Its also remarkable that they never seem to respond to the negative feedback. I find that most sellers tend to make comments on them, at least that shows they care about the negative feedback.

I picked this up at an antique store for $15. Are these rare or common? What price-range would this go for, considering it's in Good-excellent condition?
The folder is beat up, but very much intact, most of the written materials are in excellent shape, and the 5 photos are flawless.
Thanks!!!

Not too rare, but $15 is not expensive, so I would say that this was a fair price

How much for a NF copy of The Shining and then also the same condition copy but with remainder spray.(I just moved this to the correct thread - someone can delete).
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
Hello all,
I just purchased what I believe to be an S/L Desperation. However, the tray case is in 2 pieces and is just flat black on the outside. My understanding is that the case should have book title etc printed on it. Can anyone confirm what I received? I tried taking a picture of the case below.
Thanks in advance!
Did a book come with the case?
It's difficult to say what you have there.
It did... And it's clearly an S/L.
Hard to explain but it seems like what I got was the inside part of the tray case (top and bottom) but it's missing the outside of the case with the printing on it. Below is a picture with the book inside so you can see how the case isn't a single piece.
Is there a limitation page? This is the Desperation S/L w/traycase...
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
Yes it does. Thanks for the pic, it seems like somehow the "outside" of the case was somehow removed.
Guess I'll have to go through the fun eBay return process. Thanks for the help guys!
That's not an issued case for that signed limited book. The case should hinge, and have writing on it Edit: (see Brians post above)
Not unless it's a prototype case made before mass production but I have my doubts on that.

Stephen King looks to be misprinted on the book. Two piece traycase. I'd still like to see the limitation page.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
The Scorpion looks different. Well maybe...it's so hard to tell.

Yeah this is an odd one. Limitation is below.
My first S/L too.. Guess a good lesson learned
Okay, that's your copyright page. The limitation page would show the number of copies published and of what type. It would also include the signature in a signed limited edition.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
Doh... Thanks Brian
That's certainly the signed limited. Is the Stephen King on the book not printed correctly? Not having the proper traycase reduces the value. (Unless if is a proof case.) The misprint, if it is one, also reduces the value.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
Great catch Brian and you're right. The Stephen King on the book itself is black and barely visible whereas yours is gray.
Is there any value in reaching out to Grant (if that's even possible)?
Thanks for all the help! I'll go the return route... At least now I know what to be sure to look for!
We have a catalog that lists the states of the various collectible books. It's an invaluable source for reference. http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/...lectible-Items
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
Questions about the Borderlands 5 S/L. My secret santa (who is it?!) sent me one. I contacted Borderlands Press to see about a replacement slipcover and dustjacket to get rid of a couple EXTREMELY minor dings. I just got those in, but they don't quite match.
The book I got has a smoothish slipcover and an unembossed DJ. From Borderlands Press I got a slipcover that is more leather grained, and the Slipcover has an embossed title.
Which is the 'correct' state for this book? I can't really tell from the Catalog entry. Thanks guys/gals!
