Well, he wrote it as, Steve but, I would not be surprised if he didn't sign it as such as a "Goof" somewhere along the line. Good question.
I doubt it. Authors rarely like to sign as a character from their book(s).
    Bad mojo.
One time I asked Joe Hill to sign a book about Joe Hill, and he politely. but firmly said "sorry, no way: bad mojo".
I really only asked as sort of a joke anyway. If ever I were in a position to ask Mr. King for a signed book I might bring it up in conversation just to see what he'd say. Of course, I'd have a 'mint' 1st ed copy of Dark Half on standby in case he said, 'sure.'

Does anyone have a picture / scan of the cover of the NAL Audio version of THE WASTE LANDS, from 1991?

Also looking for the same thing, from the audiotapes of NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES, volume 3. Penguin Audiobooks, 1995 i think.

    Why not?
Actually, I am now only missing the cover for the Waste Lands audiotapes.

The reason is pretty simple : I am currently reworking / updating an old project of mine. A book dedicated to the "adaptations of Stephen King", in a "wide" definition.
    That includes :
Part 1 : movies/tv series, theatre, musicals, documentaries, spoofs, etc
    Part 2 : video games
    Part 3 : graphic novels / comics
    Part 4 : the illustrations
Part 5 : "musical" adaptations (songs, musics inspired by, King singer, King reader (his own stories / stories from others), texts written in albums)
Part 6 : adaptations in french language (ie : translations)

That also explains my questions regarding the illustrations

J/w do you guys think paying $80 for a limited edition Blu-ray is too much?

    http://www.shoutfactory.com/product/...deluxe-edition

It's funny because I have no problem paying $100 for a limited book but at least there I can look at the finished product and see that it's high quality.

It could be. The copyright page matches my first editions. But is there a dust jacket with a retail price printed on the inner flap?

I'm pretty sure there was, $22 if I remember correctly. Does that help? I can double back and check again. I didn't actually buy it as I'm here for a few hours.

If it is a 1st edition of "Christine", the DJ price should be $16.95.

The price on the inside dust jacket is 20.95, so I guess it's not a first edition.

They also have a Cujo: http://imgur.com/l8VkIMT but it's price clipped.

Are either of these worth anything?

Just bought the lettered edition of Robert Block's PSYCHOs from Cemetary Dance. I am confused, did I just pay $150 for a tray cased book, no signatures, letter QQ. same edition as the regular book $30 but just has two letters written in the book with a traycase? looked in the catalog here but did not see this book.

This is all it says at CD website --
    Published in two states:
    • Limited Trade Hardcover Edition of 948 copies ($30)
    • Traycased Lettered Edition of 52 copies ($150)

No signatures, nothing different than a # instead of a letter?

    Thank You!!

I don't know anything definite. I've got a nice 'Salem's Lot first edition with that stamped on the inside of the front board. There is also a slip laid in that says the same thing and has the initials "DH" also on it. I have always assumed it was from David Hartwell but don't know for sure.

Why are you asking? What have you got?

So skyofcrack, what are your thoughts on that stamp?

Does it add to the value to the book or subtract value from it?...or is there no affect?

I have it in a Carrie 1st Edition.

Same question to you Bob....does it add to the value to the book or subtract value from it?...or is there no affect? I can't see this adding to the value......but I could see a reduction in value or no affect (the stamp came from Doubleday after all...not some schmuck's personal library stamp).

THIS is a copy of The Stand on ebay with the same stamp. Personally, I would not want that Stand because the stamping was done so poorly.....but my Carrie stamp looks as nice as skyofcrack's Shining.

I guess I always thought that it added some value. Probably not a great amount but maybe as an advance copy, perhaps 10%?

Since we are showing and telling here is my 'Salem's.

Yes, there was no edition that was signed by all...so the only difference would be the tray case and lettered designation.
