Hey guys, do you remember when someone did some little Oy sculptures? Full body, sort of curled up, like resting or waiting. They were done by an artist whose last name is McVey. I think it was Alex McVey, but I’d like to confirm before I risk giving Alex credit for someone else’s work. Thanks.

Yes, Alex made 100 of them. I regret not getting one at the time. They were really well done.

There is a "curled up" sculpture and a medallion type sculpture of Oy by Alex McVey.

I did some print work for RF many years ago and the site and he gave me a thank you. The curled up OY. I love that little thing and would never sell it. I have it displayed and it’s so cool!

Thanks all. So bored at work... just trying to fill gaps in some things I don’t know. lol and I started looking at my “guy”s Remarques. I stumbled across this. It might be my favourite of all time. Has anyone seen this before and does anyone know who owns it? I would gladly pay MUCH more than what David estimates it is worth to own as I’m totally smitten. Haha

I recently bought the skeleton crew sl numbered edition from David at Betts, and rather than being a numbered, it it signed and marked ‘s/p’, I believe falling into a pc category.

My question is does anybody know how many were signed with this method of ‘numbering’ so to speak.

I thought the pcs were unsigned for some reason.

Any background info most appreciated.

I have no idea of how many were designated that way, but it seems likely that the 's'/'p' stands for Scream Press. Perhaps that was their personal way of marking an in house copy.
