Gretchen, I haven't had a chance to ask my boss who owns it.
He's been busy working on IMPORTANT stuff!!!!
Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.
And you just let him keep working on it!
ETA: You know my comment wasn't intended for you, right? It's just a bit of a 'needle in the haystack' thing, that's all.

I used to have a whole one style set of tower books until that bastard Topher moved to Kansas with the hippie commune and didn't give me the rest of my books back...

Is there a reason this thread was un-stickied?
I just noticed that it wasn't at the top.
Yes. We discussed this in the Facilitator forum.
The thought was we had too many threads stickied at the top. The consensus was to unstick the Questions on Our Catalogs thread as well as this thread.
Since it is likely updates will occur here on a regular basis, we weren't fearful thread would disappear.
If members here feel strongly about this, we certainly could reconsider, but It's best (IMO) if threads naturally either rise to the top, are revived by current activity, or move down the current thread list.
But that is not fair to the threads that don't get a lot of posts. They fall to the bottom through no fault of their own. I think that we should take some posts from the more popular threads and put them into the less interesting threads (even though they don't deserve them). That way the lesser threads would feel more a part of the forum. All threads should have an equal number of posts.

Since I started this thread and have put years of work into updating the list, I feel ok that it is unstuck. I rarely go a month without updating it, so I'm ok with the change (for whatever that is worth).
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
man oh man - a sticky situation at best!

Spoiler:
I am sure I am being very dull, but where is the list now, as there used to be a link on the home page (or maybe my brain is rather more addled than I thought!)
for me the quest for The (complete) Tower is close - just a body of water and several thousand miles between it and I.......not long now!!!!!!!!

I am so glad David was okay with unsticking this thread. The conversation was really funny.

I was looking at the first post and was wondering what is a Publisher's Set? how does it differ from the numbered sets?
Publishers normally hold a few sets for the author, artist, contributors, etc. often known in the collectors world as PC copies.
For example, below is the limitation page of Firestarter:
"This First Edition of Firestarter by Stephen King is limited to 725 copies, all of which have been signed and numbered by the author. This being number ____."
In the blank spot would be the number assigned to the limited. A Publisher Copy would normally say PC in that space. Some publisher companies do what is called an Artist Edition reserved specifically for the Artist. Known to collectors as AE edition.
Hope I helped you and not confused you.

Thanks Ralph-
There are only 3 complete PC sets that I have found. Bob and I each own one and Stu is still trying to sell Chris's set.
