Dark Tower Same-Number Sets: Who owns them?

Since we're just throwing shit out there, I'd say you don't have a complete set unless you've got one of each type published (hence the term "complete"). That means one lettered, one numbered, one author's copy, one presentation copy, one publishers copy, one proof, etc., all of the same available from the UK, and matching any numbers would be a bonus.

Super Set would be good... what about Complete International Set. It would be limited to only 200 possible. How close are you AKC?

In the meantime, a Lettered Gunslinger is currently occupying the space were the #32 'Slinger would go.....I guess that is a nice consolation.

I have no idea how to start a poll, but the question is:

What is required to make a complete, same number S/L set of The Dark Tower?

1. DTI, DT2, DT3, DT4, DT5, DT6, DT7
2. DTI, DT2, DT3, DT4, DT5, DT6, DT7, TWTTK
3. DTI, DT2, DT3, DT4, DT5, DT6, DT7, TWTTK, LSOE

I am NOT including the following combination on purpose:

Not a good question.. let say you pick one of the three or four you listed... What would you call the other three? incomplete, same number S/L set of The Dark Tower?

If the consensus among collectors is that #3 is "a complete matching # set", than yes, I would call options #1 and #2 "an incomplete matching# set.

Should another possibility "Complete 1-500" matching # set consist of:
DT1 Gunslinger,
DT2 Drawing of the Three,
DT3 Wastelands,
DT4 Wizard & Glass,
DT4.5 Wind through the Keyhole,
DT5 Wolves of the Calla,
DT6 Song of Susannah,
DT7 The Dark Tower,
All the above are actually stated as "Dark Tower" preceding the title of the book.


The Grant edition of The Little Sisters of Eluria is the only jacket with no mention of "Dark Tower"

Since Legends the S/L is "I think" the 1st printing of the S/L Little Sisters of Eluria, and is mentioned in the contents as a "Dark Tower" story.
Should this also be included ?
Why should the S/L Legends be omitted ?
or are we talking about Grant ed. only ?

I concur....won't sell at $20K. In my book collecting software, I have my matching number set with LSOE & TWTTKH at a value of $13K (high in today's market)
