Yep. . .and hopefully they'll do the book justice, and it won't be Shrikenado.
Looking for the following lettered editions: Dark Forces, 999, Crown of Shadows (Hill)

Now, I haven't read them yet. Anyone who has, what's your verdict??

I enjoyed them as well. Some parts seemed to work better than others, but what worked, REALLY worked.

There haven't been too many Simmons's I didn't enjoy (actually, only one), so I'm sure I will like these as well.
    Thanks everyone for their reaction.

Great editions. Loved reading them both, though they really are one long book.

We have a hardcover 1st/1st set of HYPERION and THE FALL OF HYPERION available, and posted over at the Other Authors/Classified thread. A few other Simmons titles available/on the way from a private collection. Feel free to PM if you're in the market for a particular title.

I'm away on vacation right now so I can't check my Simmons want list but I'm definitely interested, Matt. In the Hyperion set and other titles, that is.

One of Simmons' best! When you are finished you might want to read A Winter Haunting. I won't tell you why though.

The Rise of Endymion, while it hasn't been officially announced yet, looks to be on one of the banners on SubPress's website.

I'm not aware of a complete list but I think most limiteds were done by Lord John Press (most in two or three states) and more recently by SubPress. They're certainly not as expensive as King limiteds!

I like the Lord John Press editions the best.

If you do a search on Abe you'll find most if not all of the Simmons limiteds. Sort by title from A-Z and there you go

So I have never read Simmons and want to start with the Cantos Series. Does anyone have spare copies they are willing to sell? Preferably 1/1 but not an absolute deal breaker if not.
