I AM AN UNSTOPPABLE FORCE!!!!!
ok now that that's out of my system i'll tell you why. i defeated Gilgamesh, yes, level 70 Gilgamesh and the highest leveled character i have is 48. i am a monster. lol.... so now i have the ulimate katana marasume (sp?) to add to my arsenal. i also added the volcano to the list of my ultimate weapons i already wield. i have to work on leveling balthier, ashe and penelo still because the others are just growing so fast. not sure where to go to strengthen them up.. they all have embroidered tippets for the extra exp still. right now i'm just doing hunts and stuff because i have reddas with me and he helps. i'm at the part in the story right after getting the strahl still.
Human kind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one and only truth.
Early September. For some reason, the 16th sticks out in my mind. Could be wrong, though.
The demo was... fair. I'm not sure that I did it right - the Force Grip mechanic is new to me and kind of hard to control. Anyhow, it does look like a game that, pending length/replay value, will definitely warrant a rent and maybe a purchase.
I'm stuck in mission 12/14 in Lair It's one of those insanely difficult missions where your brothers in arms are giving you 10 different orders at once (I'm sure you've all been there) :
Protect the bridge!
Defend the mantas!
Destory those turrets!
Wipe out those dragons!
Defend the warbeasts!
Destroy those ships!
This gives me a good idea for a new thread...
ugh! i hated that mark. not cuz he was hard. he was, of course, but because twice when i finally beat him, i died trying to leave the mines. And i wish that in the next final fantsy game, they'll allow free roaming airships. that was one of the funnest parts of the other games. being able to see the entire planet, and land wherever, whenever. If skies of arcadia can make an entire 3 dimensional planet, so can Sqaure Enix.
yeah. i missed that part too

i've also been waiting for Skies of Arcadia II. They said it was in production back in 2005 or so. and did they ever release that Duke Nukem game?
Beat Uncharted: Drake's Fortune today. Took about 4 days or so of decent playtime.
All in all, I thought it was fantastic. Great story, great platforming, great action. The recently patched in Trophies were just an added bonus. Plus, it's got unexpected zombies, so that's a plus. Fast zombies. I didn't like them.
Don't you get it?! We are the walking dead! We are the walking dead...
Beat Super Stardust HD today. Segomo is my least favorite planet. If you're considering a relaxing vacation or illicit tryst there, you had best think elsewise. It is a place of ice. Not the cooling-of-drinks sort, but the jagged, stab you in the ship sort. It is a place of gold. Not the spend-it-or-sell-it-or-save-it sort, but the molten, crush you and burn you sort.
And that's saying nothing for the smartmines and robosnakes.
MGS 5 Announced?
Former Kojima Productions member mentions title's development.
by Jeff Haynes
August 26, 2008 - If you've been amazed by the technical prowess of MGS4, you may have been saddened to know that the title was the last game in the series. Or was it? In an interview with Kotaku, former Assistant Producer at Kojima Productions Ryan Payton (widely credited with the Westernized control scheme for MGS4), mentioned his reasons for leaving the company and memories of developing the acclaimed title. At the very end of the interview, he revealed something that all Metal Gear fans wanted to hear. "It'll be hard not being involved in MGS5, but I've got the utmost confidence that Hideo Kojima, Ken Imaizumi, and our amazing team will put together another blockbuster game. I'll be cheering from the sidelines," Payton said.
This isn't the only Metal Gear news that has been released recently. According to an interview with Eurogamer, Hideo Kojima himself noted that MGS4 probably isn't possible to be made on the 360 because of the optimization for the PS3, physical media differences between Blu-ray and DVD and technology issues. However, he did mention that technological issues might not be a problem farther along in the future. "If the hardware technology rises then obviously, you know, [my future games] won't be based on the hardware anymore. Probably I will first create the software and then, um, it's a strange word to say, but port to other hardware if that technological ability rises in all areas," Kojima said.
Kojima also seemed to be annoyed about the seemingly constant focus on the PS3 vs 360, stating that the argument over exclusivity detracted from the game itself. "What kind of disturbs me sometimes, because a lot of people ask me about this PS3/360 question, is that it's not about the hardware - I want people to look at the game itself. Sometimes I even feel like it should be on a PC so that people don't ask me about hardware and platforms," Kojima mentioned. "In the near future I hope they'll ask me about Metal Gear, about us, about our future projects, and will stop caring about the hardware."
We contacted Konami for comment on the "announcement" of Metal Gear Solid 5, but received no word as of the publishing of this news.
I'm currently on level 70 with all characters in FF12, just running around trying to finish the Bestiary and sidequests before I head to Bahamut.
Feev: I'm not sure how I feel about that. I mean... without a Snake, what is the Metal Gear series?
Edit: It would be a guy in ridiculously bright night-vision goggles skulking around in a garden wearing a giant gun that he's not allowed to shoot at people.
and that's why sam fisher will never be as great as the Snake.
anyways, there's this flash game that i really enjoy. it's an rpg that saves your progress, at least until you have to clear you browsing history for oen reason or another. so i want to know if there is a way to download the game. btw here's the link

I still can't pass Mission 12!!
I HATE DUAL OBJECTIVES.
Yeah, I hate timed missions too.
But I'm going to keep at it until I'm finished, even if it takes me 200 more tries, you know why?
Cuz I'm a cr-ayy-zee boy!!! Aoooowwwwww!!
Spoiler:
I HATE technical support sites! they are FUCKING USELESS!
I just installed The second Splinter cell game on my computer. because i loved it on the gamecube. i start playing and
SPLINTERCELL2.EXE has stopped working. visit our site for technical support. or something like that.
so i go to the site
mow it's one thing when they don't do support for a game anymore. it another thing when you spen 20 minute going in fucking circles trying to fix a problem!
Uninstall/reinstall.
Keep your savegames.
Problem solved.
Also, you may want to consider downloading the latest patch and installing it before you play the game.
Don't you get it?! We are the walking dead! We are the walking dead...
i did that. twice.
[edit]8:50 AM. just tried a thrid time. still nothing.[/edit]
I finally passed mission 12! (overwhelming sense of accomplishment)
2 more missions to finish Lair, and 2 more missions to finish Metal Gear Solid : Portable Ops. Hopefully I can complete both by tomorrow afternoon.
Yes sir! I passed both of them today!
In regards to Lair - It's funny, the mission I was stuck in was 12/14, and that was the hardest mission in the game. Missions 13 and 14 were a 'sinch' compared to it.
Have you played Portable Ops, Yun?
hey have any of you guys played Tales of Vesperia yet?
