I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. - Edgar Allan Poe
Bunch together a group of people deliberately chosen for strong religious feelings, and you have a practical guarantee of dark morbidities expressed in crime, perversion, and insanity. - H.P. Lovecraft

If I don't collapse from exhaustion tomorrow after college, I am so going to play Street Fighter with the guys.
Street Fighter? Sounds violent.

I'd love to try out the new Street Fighter...growing up, I was always more of a MK kid, but I still have a little secret cubbyhole in my heart for SF.
Elodin: "Tombs is for feckless twits who can't chew their own food. My boy's a Re'lar! He has the feck of twenty men!"
Kvothe: “Books are a poor substitute for female companionship, but they are easier to find.”
Simmon: ”It’s just ointment in case you get burned...but if you mix it with piss, it turns into candy.” Sim’s expression was deadpan. “Delicious candy.”
Gamefly sent me a copy yesterday, I probably won't get it until Saturday. Which kinda sucks since I'll be working a 13 hour shift. This is the first time I've gotten a new release from gamefly the week it was released. . usually I gotta wait weeks.
I'll probably pick up Street Fighter IV later on in the year, right now I'm saving my pennies for Resident Evil!
I know Resident Evil looks great! I loved 4, but the all time greatest res evil had to be 2.
currently playing City of Heroes/Villians
<-----has many toons...lol
Does whatever a spiderman does.
Resident Evil is going to kick some serious ass.
OK, I am still seriously addicted to Spore... I can't stop myself!
Buddy, you think you look strong? You’re wearing a cape.
I just got into spore as I just got a laptop capable of playing it. . . game is excelllent!
I am very displeased with how easy the end of FF12 was...
alot of games simmer out in the end nowadays. .what happened to the truly epic endings?
That's why I got it on 360. I've heard nothing but complaints about the PS3 version. That, and the 360 gets the 3 DLC packs, the third of which expands the level cap to 30 (instead of 20) and lets you continue post end-game.
They really screwed the pooch on the PS3 version from what I've heard. I never suffered a single glitch in my 40+ hours on the 360 version.
Don't you get it?! We are the walking dead! We are the walking dead...
I haven't had a glitch in a while, but about 8 playing hours ago I was getting up the arse!
Oh, and PS3+No DLC = FAIL.
Never had a glitch for me either on 360 version of Fallout 3. . I'm sure eventually they will put out the dlc for ps3, maybe a game of the year version or something. .
It just seemed so dry. Too many forgettable characters and bland locations. By the end, I didn't even know why my characters were fighting, except that Vayne was kind of being a dick. Beyond that, the whole thing just didn't seem to have much character development, aside from Bash and Balthier. The supposedly-main character of Vaan did what? Got more determined?
I dunno. It could have been better.
Hmm, I do agree with you on the bland characters argument, and yes, some of the locations were a little...underwhelming, but don't you think that the gameplay made up for that? At first I was a bit skeptical about the new combat system, but I have to admit that once I actually got around to playing it, I couldn't put it down. And I felt that XII was the most rewarding FF in terms of exploring the landscape for rare items/weapons. I also loved that pseudo-european feel the game had going for it, it felt like a return to the FF of old.
