Is that the new Fright Night? And if so how'd you like it?

Yes, it's the new Fright Night. I've never seen the original, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I enjoyed Fright Night. I know a lot people are getting tired of all the vampire films that are out lately and I think many of them are becoming parodies of themselves. That being said, Fright Night is not Twilight. It's bloody and violent and even takes a few shot at the Twilight franchise.

I think my main problem with the film is that it sometimes can't make up it's mind whether or not it's going to be serious or silly. I also thought Colin Farrell was really good. He plays the sexy, sleezy vampire really well.

I really didn't know anything about the film or the original going in, but I had a fun time. It's unfortunate that it bombed at the box office. It's too bad that the vampire films that get good reviews are shunned at the box office. I'm looking at you Let Me In.

Thanks, maybe I'll check it out when it comes to dvd. I was a bit skeptical when I saw they were remaking it. I'd recommend checking out the original when you get a chance.

The original Fright Night was awesome, I had a massive thing for vampire films back when I was a teen and that was one of my favourites.
