All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
Damn. YouTube must be having a bad morning. I can't get a one.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
Ok now all is right with the world.
All that's left of what we were is what we have become.
Move those buns, hon!
I just recently learned the name of this song. So I looked it up because I was curious about the singer. Now it's everywhere! She was just interviewed on one of the radio stations I listened to on the way to work and I just saw a parody of it on FB.
Also FWIW, that's her real voice. When she sings this song live, it sounds just like the studio version.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
Can't get it out of my head since Jon quoted it, thanks Jon
For all we "jagoffs"

I don't know how they did it but "Vera" has the power to bring me to tears every time I hear it. Such power in 90 seconds! Astounding!
I think that whole movie is pretty moving. Even the seemingly "mundane" tune like One of My Turns has quite a message about domestic violence which is something not really addressed in that era.
