Very fun night. No lack of entertainment when hanging out with Tippy and Crow Man.
As Tippy said, Owen happily signed everything put in front of him (including a stack of calenders). One of the highlights was when Owen, while signing my books, pulled out six Chapbooks offered them to me (like I would have refused??), then signed them all.
A big thank you to Mrs. Crow Man (Crow Woman?) for running back upstairs to get my Tshirt signed and arrowed!
Heres more pics...

Looks like you guys had fun, so nice to hear. Wish I could have been there, but that's a long long way to drive.
Christine

Very nice pictures, Twisted. The chapbooks are very cool.
Missed the adventure.... so glad you all shared so can live vicariously through you all.
Owen seems like a really cool guy.
Awesome TN, thanks for the signed copy (although you're shrouded in multiple layers of mystery - you're okay by me)

It really isn't a spoiler. In the back of the book is a list ofSEVENTY-FOURSEVENTY-FIVE THINGS THAT CAUSE UNECCESSARY FATIGUE
A book signing is #77...
so the kick off signing/reading last night was great. Water st bookstore did an amazing job of setting up a Christmas land like setting, too. Lots of cookies and creepy balloons and some streamers to boot. Here are some pics. sorry they are from my cell phone.
Got a ton of goodies signed and doodled and got some incite on some future project. One I personally wanted to know about and asked him about sequels to gunpowder which he said he still planned on doing and said the title of the next one will be "slave girls of gunpowder" sounds fun
Tabitha and Joes kids were there too, supporting him on his kickoff date for NOS4A2 world tour 2013. Rock on!!!

also as an aside for anyone going to see him on this tour. If your wondering if Joe will sign multiple books/comics he will if you just have him sign 3 or so things and then go to the back of the line again. Either that or just wait until the end and he will sign all your stuff within reason. The downside to waiting until the end of the line is that he is totally burnt out so you may not get as cool of a doodle I recommend getting 3 signed/doodled then waiting until the end to get the rest of your gear signed. My 2 cents.
is anyone going to the signing in Dayton on May 5th?
Thanks Twisted Nadine received The signed books yesterday, thanks again
All things being equal, I may well be attending the Hill SF signing on May 15th - I have some business in the US (east coast) for most of May, so chances are better than average that I'll be attending my first ever real live book signing ... Hopefully, I'll be able to catch up with some of you guys !!!!

Sigh ... what can I say, I'm geographically challenged ... it's the west coast I'll be on (that week anyway)
We all float down here!
