Oh yeah!! I tried to avoid the Sookie books AND True Blood, because I was under the impression it was a load of bollocks (probably because my youngest sister loves it and she has awful taste ) but she dropped off the first book earlier this year and I was hooked. I mean, it's total cheese, but soooo readable and verging on soft porn at times, which is always a bonus

    Currently reading more Chuck P

After I finish these, I plan on reading a vampire book by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan called Strain.
Ooo I loved The Strain! Im eagerly awaiting the paperback of the 2nd book

I just finished Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and I. LOVED. IT!!!

I saw del Torro on The Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson talking about it and grabbed it. I am looking pretty forward to it.

"So many vows. They make you swear and swear. Defend the King, obey the King, obey your father, protect the innocent, defend the weak. But what if your father despises the King? What if the King massacres the innocent? It's too much. No matter what you do, you're forsaking one vow or another."

Yes, I am. My (unlikely) goal is to finish ALL of King's books before the new year. At the very least I want to finish a total of 100 books this year. So far I'm at about 60.

I read the Prestige while i was away

    Thank you Ricky

It was one of the best books i have read in a while, and while i hated it when it ended, i also liked the ending which is very rare in a book these days

i loved it, especially getting into Angiers mind and finding out what motivated him and how he got quite addicted to 'dealing with the prestige'

the only teeny weeny thing was i wanted more Borden!!!
    Spoiler:
is it me, or does it actually answer the whole twin aspect? i would have loved for Priest to delve more into that relationship
