Here is the book. The first was the case
And the book in the case
Some more shots
And the sig page
As I said, I think this is a brand new book, meaning never opened to be read and the case is also new. I know it's not the most most flashy, but I am happy to add it
to my collection.
That's just an awful

Thanks Steve. I want to try and get some "affordable" S\L books. Something like Insomnia, which I liked would fit that description and is next on my list.
Congrats, Mike!
You don't know my kind.....You don't my mind.....Dark necessities are part of my design.....
Lovely addition, Mikey!
Thanks Brian and Antoni Hopefully it won't be the last. I have Insomnia, a 2nd Salems' Lot and a Talisman on my list Not necessarily in that order. But those are the three I want next.
After that, who knows. But Desperation looks good on my shelf.
Sweet - I love those older signatures.
Thanks again everyone. It's good to add a "want" into your collection.
That looks like a pristine copy, Mike. Well done!
Good luck in your search for Insomnia.

Thanks Peter. Yep. It is a new, unread copy in a brand new case David got for me. It's always slow and steady for me. Hopefully I can find a great Insomnia. There have been some
out there but they have had case issues and I want to try and avoid that if possible.
Funny, I was going to say in my last post: always check condition on the Insomnia S/L.
They seem to often have traycase issues. I think the leather material on the traycase shrinks/dries out over time, and that can cause cracks and tears at the corners or along the "hinges". I've been caught.

I have seen ones with rubbing and on David's site he some times has them with rubbing. So I don't know how quickly I can find one. Plus I still want a second state Salems' Lot.
So we shall see. And of course The Talisman with as little rubbing as possible.
Sexy book.
Thanks Ben. Yea, it looks better in person.
Didn’t see your Desperation until now. This book hasn’t been on my radar but I’m going to fix that right now. It’s pretty damn cool. Congrats.
Looking for Mister Slaughter S/L #78
It is a great looking book Adam. Not on a lot of peoples Radar because it's not as popular and it probably won't go up in value a ton, There were 2,000 S\L done of this book. But that
doesn't matter. It's an affordable, S\L book that looks great (to me). That combo is becoming harder to find these days.
Agree, Mike. Desperation was one of the first King S/Ls I bought, just for all those reasons.

Ordered the GE of Misery. It did not feel right not having some version of Paul's first book (besides the portfolio). Still pretty excited though.
