I have a general question about IT again. Since we now know that there were multiple printings on different days, does having an original one, from the 1st print run make it any more valuable then the other printings. They did 5 printings of the first ed. Mine is one from the first batch of 400,000. I know it's still a lot of books but it is from the first batch. It probably doesn't but I thought I would ask anyway. I will say that it is in perfect condition. I mean, it looks like it wasn't even read. I can take a pic of the book, even though it's not a limited .

The ONLY valuable US hardcover of IT is the true 1st edition, 1st printing. 2nds, 3rds, 4ths, etc. are good for reading, and not much more.

Cool, because that's the one I have. I think it's worth $50. I guess that's not too bad. I forget what I paid for it though.

So here is something interesting about IT. Everybody hates the spider. It must be how cheesy the spider looked because in the book there is a spider

My opinion is that's the best book Stephen King ever wrote. Not that particular copy, but you know what I mean.

I think you have a decent copy. I know many collectors without a first Stand that wouldn't be embarrassed to have this on their shelf. I've held and owned several First Edition Stand copies throughout my collecting from the early 80's, some had separation, and some didn't. Again, your copy is decent. Be proud of it.

I may lay low for a while. I need to build up my funds again. I did a lot (for me) in a short amount of time so now I need to build up the funds.

Not that this thread gets a lot of play anyway. I need to save for next purchase. So you may or may not see me lurking. Good luck collecting everybody .
