I just started I-Land on Netflix. I'm worried it might turn too formulated but it's ok up to episode 3. Has anyone seen it?

I've heard of it, but haven't even gotten around to watching the trailer.

Dark (there's no The) on Netflix is great. It's like Twin Peaks in tone and The X-Files & The Twilight Zone thematically.

I love Dark (but haven't gotten around to Season 2 yet, as I definitely need to re-watch Season 1). It gave me some Stephen King/It vibes, too, in the way it plays with time and relationships.

Just finished The Boys. A little bit less graphic than the comics but very, very enjoyable. I'm curious where they'll take season 2 because we're in uncharted waters now.

I'll probably start Dark S2. The non-linear storytelling is pretty much the only thing I found similar to King/It and even that's just a storytelling device. It doesn't feel like a hommage to me but I could also be completely wrong.(Just addressing the post from the previous page).

I'm also watching 7 Seeds even though I finished God Eater only yesterday. Q: How much Japanese dystopian/post-apocalyptic anime is too much? A: no such thing.*

*Unless you're not a fan. Then please just move along.

I think the ending of Lost among some is misinterpreted.
If you've never seen it don't let that stop you, however it's a commitment- 120 episodes. Not all of them are top notch but it's still my favorite show to date with Breaking Bad taking second place.

It is on my long list of stuff to watch. I was a cinema snob so did not watch network. On season three of 24 now. Started series a few years ago. Ha! Lost and 24 are iconic enough to check out for sure.

I don't see many movies but my wife loves movies.
I've never seen 24. My wife may have, I'll have to ask her. She tried to get me to watch Stranger Things for 3 years and finally I did just the last 2 months. It's excellent.

I've been wanting to re-watch LOST since it ended 9 (wait, nine?!) years ago. But you're right, it IS a huge commitment. There's just so many other TV shows on my list that I want to see that keeps me from re-watching ones I love.

Do it! And people who complained about the ending are (mostly) the people who need every. little. question. answered. While there are many questions that aren't answered (some more frustrating than others), it is hugely emotionally satisfying. You will cry. Promise.

Just finished the latest "Jack Ryan" season. Another fine season of action/adventure television!!! If you haven't seen this show do yourself a favor and watch. The latest "Goliath" was not bad though, not quite as good as the previous season's IMHO

That's near the top of my To Watch list. Is it difficult to look at John Krasinski and not think about Jim Halpert though? Lol.

Totally agree. LOVED Jack Ryan and I love Goliath too but this was the worst of the three seasons but still good.

    I like Goliath. Great show!

I'm watching The Man in the High Castle on Prime. It's an alternate historical fiction drama where the axis won WWII. Very well done IMHO.

That's one that has been on the top of my watchlist for a while. Actually, I saw Titus Welliver who plays Bosch at a school play at the school my mom works at. His son was acting in it and he was pretty average.

That's another one near the top of my watchlist. Unfortunately, I started reading the book in the summer and puttered out. I'm halfway through but had a hard time getting into it.
