I do have a spare. PM sent.
That was close lol I just sent him a message asking about the difference between the eBay item, and the one sold on Amazon for $12.48. I was going to help based on the eBay seller and I live in NJ. I am glad you have a spare.
I replied to both of your messages, thanks. The copy on eBay is the true and 'limited' (2000 copies?) 1st printing. There's also a much more common version (often mistakenly labeled '1st printing') which has the title in red and several other differences. I already own a copy of the common version.
I have the true first signed by 14 out of the 21 contributors (not King, tho).
reality continues to ruin my life
Nice!
And I have the hardcover copy from the UK:
I had no idea there was a hardcover edition.
Then buy the one on eBay
It's more that I never knew a first printing existed. (Don't like the copy on Ebay)
The numberline in my copy starts at "2", from right.
I'm not sure of all the bibliographic details on this issue (and anyone who knows please correct me if I am wrong) but there are at least two editions of this book published in the US.
The true first was published by McSweeney's and, I guess, this is the one that had the limitation of 2000 copies referred to in a previous post. You can tell by looking at the logo on the bottom of the spine and seeing a chair. There should also be a numberline on the copyright page going down to "1". Published in 2002.
Vintage Books (A Division of Random House,Inc.) also published the book in 2003. I don't have a copy of that one (I do have the proof) but the chair logo is missing from the spine and I'm sure there are other differences as well.
If you are looking for the true first you need the one published by McSweeney's.
For which I'm very grateful!
Hello, I need to someone to bid on an item for me, and probably recieving + sending it to me if i win as the seller do not seem to send internationally... nor accept any questions, nor ebay allow me to bid on it.

Hi,
I am a member and from the US. I would REALLY appreciate someone from the UK's help. There are some magazines (not porn) that I want but they wont sell to the US only UK and Europe. I would be happy to help someone with getting something signed or bought in the US in the future for helping me.
Thanks in advance,
Simon

LOL
No, nothing that exciting I found a used copy of the magazine I was looking for at amazon. (get your minds out of the gutter. No the pages don't stick)
if it doesn't arrive hopefully someone can help me get one from the publisher.
I'm seeking the assistance of someone in the US.
There are some items on ebay (3 buy-it-now and 2 auctions that I probably won't win) that I'm interested in but the sellers won't ship outside the US, would anyone be willing to bid on them and get them shipped to you, then post them to me in the UK? I will of course make it worth your time and effort with cash or books
Its a bit of a mission so I won't be surprised if I don't get any replies.
