Book VIII speculation *Massive spoilers*

I remember King announcing a while ago that he was gonna write an eighth book for the DT series.

So I am just wondering or speculating what this book could be about.

Me, I personally don't think it will be about Roland's current ka-tet, thier journey is basically done as far I am concerned.

I think it will be another flashback adventure with Roland's old companions - Alain, Cuthbert and Jamie.

There is still a lot of Roland's past we still don't know about. We don't know how excatly Gilead fell, the death of Roland's dad and what excatly led up to the events of Jericho Hill. None of questions are really answered in the previous seven books.

I also am quite curious on why exactly why Roland started chasing Walter in the first place. Again a question that is never answered satsifactorily in the series so far.
