Man...I really want this film to be good enough to rake in the big bucks. A sequel set mostly, or, hell, EXCLUSIVELY in Mid-World sounds like a dream. On top of that, a well-animated Oy requires a healthy budget for CGI and/or animatronics.
Well, not gonna happen since they (very likely) went bankrupt because of the LIFE OF PIE movie

Love this new trailer. We get to see some more bad ass gun play.
Roland apparently has mastery over precise bullet ricochets. At any point, did he perform such a stunt in the novels?
I just saw another version of the trailer on Youtube, Roland says "I've been fighting him for over 200 years."
Do the novels ever put such a fine point on how long Roland has been battling MiB?
It was a random 25 second Youtube Ad... I was listening to Green Day if that helps
I wonder what it says that would still be about as faithful as the current movie looks.

Useless movie trailer factoid:
The chimes heard at the beginning of the Dark Tower trailer are from the Colonel's (Lee Van Cleef's) pocket watch in "For A Few Dollars More." (1965)
Man the Hate for this movie on Reddit is crazy! At least here everyone is still reasonable. This site has always been great With Great DT fans
What I find particularly humorous are the trolls telling people okay with or even enthusiastic about the trailers we've seen thus far that they're too emotional. Of course, their (the trolls) behaving akin to stereotypical bratty five-year olds as they tear every little thing displayed to shreds is the height of emotionless rationality.
I was a bit surprised that you missed that reference. Okay okay, I missed it too, BUT...I did hear about it from other more perceptive/knowledgeable fans than myself a little while back .
Here you go, Fernandito.

Where is the location the new trailer opens on? The lush town on a mesa with the pyramid. Algul Siento? Doesn't have much of a college campus look as described in the novels, but it's the only place that really stands out form the surrounding landscape like that as well.
