    Not to mince words, but...the term can refer to any sort of physical or mental disability, not simply the loss of function (or presence!) of one's legs.

    By the way, is there a BB Code method to cover one's words up with a black strip that disappears when the words are moused over? The normal "spoiler" tag works well for images, but is a teeny tiny bit clunky for short amounts of text.

    "Idris' new film follows 11-year-old adventure seeker Jake Chambers, who finds another dimension called Mid-World, where he manages to travel to the other world and meet his character Roland.

    The pair strike up an unlikely friendship as Roland attempts to reach the Dark Tower in End-World as he aims to save Mid-World from extinction.

    I like to think that, Kings' desire to "revise" the series will be at least partially realized in the films. FWIW
