I FINALLY watched Timecrimes. I received the disc from Netflix in early September.
Anyway, I really enjoyed it. It's one of the better time travel films I've seen. My main complaint is that I didn't really like the main character. I thought he was pretty unlikable throughout the whole film. If I liked the main character more, this might have been one of my favorite films.
I mean, he terrorizes that poor woman. She must have been so confused. I felt so bad for her.

I really want to watch that. The director said he was inspired by the time travel stories in 2000AD comics, so that's an instant draw for me right there.

About a half hour into Spotlight so far. I really like it so far.
Taking a break in order to watch Goodnight Mommy with my roommate in a little bit. Finally found a good subtitled copy. Woot woot!

Just watched The Visit. What a horrible movie. What did you guys like about it?
I thought there were a few decent scenes and a whole lot of annoying ones (that fucking rapping kid was THE. WORST.)
And for some reason, the "galloping grandma" scene REALLY got me. The twist was pretty good, but of course I saw it coming earlier.
Horrible? Ouija is horrible, I'm not sure how they can both be put in the same category. That being said, I will admit that part of the reason I enjoyed The Visit was the fact that it wasn't nearly as bad as some of M. Night's recent films. Other than that, I liked how it had a Hansel and Gretel feel to it. I never judge horror films on how much they scare me, because that rarely happens, but I did find it creepy on more than one occasion.

A super turd. I have complained about it on the horror thread so much that my fingers bled. You might like Crimson Peak. The acting is great, the scenery is great, and visually it is great. But....the plot isn't the best and it does drag. However, it is beautifully done in my opinion.
