Saw this on Friday:

An absolutely brilliantly-made documentary, which is touring the country. If you want to see where it's headed next, check out the screenings...
Finally watched Bronson today. It's not as good as his Pusher films, but I enjoyed it. I'm surprised Rifn left so much material on the table. He didn't have to turn it into a three-hour epic, but for...
I don't know if I'd say I "loved" it, but I did really enjoy the film, especially the Clooney role, and I don't think I've ever written or said anything complimentary about George Clooney...ever....
I can't stand Clooney. That guy is the biggest stiff in Hollywood, and the only one who comes close to eclipsing him is Marcia Gay Harden-they're probably two of the most overrated actors in history....
Here's an article that describes the film:

If you want to see another great boxing documentary you should check out this one:

It's about the life of Emile...
Has anyone seen that documentary about Lebron James, and his high school teammates? I love sports documentaries, in general, but the fact that he executive produced it makes me thing it might not be...
Just watched "The English Surgeon" on P.O.V. last night and thought it was fantastic. Definitely one of the best documentaries I've seen this year.
Haha.
Yeah, the first twelve minutes or so are incredibly obnoxious, but the rest of the movie wasn't too bad. Definitely not my favorite film starring Ellen Page, but I didn't think it was that...
It premiered in New York City this past weekend.
They're crisscrossing the country over the next two months. Here's a list of showtimes:

Saw "Big Fan" a few hours ago, and loved it!
Even if you're not interested in football, you should check it out. If for no other reason, then simply to watch the final five minutes of the film.
Going to see this at The Angelika tomorrow:

I agree with the rest of you re: Schmaylan.
I watched ten minutes of The Sixth Sense, and the only thing that I could think of was, "what's with the hype?" I'm sure his other movies sucked as well.
Is anyone planning on seeing this:

I would give it a shot if I didn't totally despise Megan Fox.
Okay, I just came back from watching The Baader Meinhof Complex at The Angelika, and was very impressed. It runs to almost two and a half hours, but is worth it, trust me!
Here's the trailer, for...
Going to Manhattan on Friday to see this:

BTW, that Mike Tyson documentary-which I wanted to see when it was in theaters-is finally out on DVD!
I liked it too, but the ending was very disappointing.
Why didn't they use the alternate, gloomy, conclusion, which at least made some sense?
:onfire:
:panic:
There were a lot of reasons not to like that movie, starting with the fact that its two stars were some English crackhead I had never heard of-and who's not funny-and Jason Segal, who's only slightly...
