I've decided to hunt down and buy a signed Mr Mercedes
Really two questions.....is this the real deal and what are they fetching?
IMO it's real (but I have been wrong before) and I'm hoping to...
Being a child of the 1950's I grew up on this stuff. I watched the Mickey Mouse Club almost every day after school. That's where the Spin and Marty serialized stories were seen. Sometimes Annette...
Patrick (aka Marty). You sound perfect for the book. My offer for $450 is from a solid guy that has spend a small fortune on my books. After I heard from David saying the book and slipcase are worth...
Last night I emailed and I just now heard back from David. $450 is too low, $895 is too high and $600 is the sweet spot.
Bob I came up with $895 because I thought it had a lot going for it. A 23 years old LE with two vintage signatures. And I am a huge fan of slipcases...better when they mark the spine (like this one)...
IMO The Dead Zone is one of King's best stories and I like Easton Press quality standards. But in 1993 the LE should have been done by Grant. And made it signed and numbered. But it wasn't so we have...
Thanks for that, I'll get around to posting them over this l o n g weekend.
Legacies is by far my favorite with a page devoted to each author and artist. Also traycase trumps slipcase as well....but...
Not sure what to ask for these books and art portfolio?
All 3 books have all the authors signatures and are numbered.
The Very Best of BEST NEW HORROR #PC of 200
The Best of CEMETERY DANCE...
If you were looking to buy I'll let this go for $325.00 shipping included. PM if you're interested.

OK thanks. Just this weekend I sold a mint FDNS for $135 so I'll ask $200 for this. Really that is a lot of work for $25 $75, Glenn must be rocket fast,
I am going to bite my tongue and not say anything. No, really, I am not going to say it.........[/QUOTE]
$100 - $120 is a bit steep for me. The most I would pay is probably $80 to not touch my...
What does a full page Glenn Chadbourne remarque add to a FDNS gift edition? I was thinking another $100 - $120?

The only time I care about matching numbers is with the DT series. Also nice when any art portfolios with their book.
As far as The Shining + Doctor Sleep or other books it doesn't matter.
The inscription wasn't asked for, he smiled when he saw it and wrote what he was thinking. I won't be selling it anytime soon.
I am on the same page, vintage signatures for vintage books. As much...
Thanks for the guesstimates guys.
If I saw it for $500 I would snap it up. We know it would be cooler if it was a vintage signature.......but it is what it is.
100% it is his signature.....I watched him autograph it and have photos to document. I would hand these over to the new owner if I did sell.
However, I wasn't thinking of selling I was trying to:...
What do you think this 72' Cavalier worth?
It has King's signature plus he signed his pseudonym as well. He wrote (AKA John Swithen).
Has anyone seen him sign John Swithen before?

In the 9 months I had 5 offers (I think). All were in the $400 - $550 range. I think SubPress captured the vintage and feel of The Shining perfectly. One of my favorite books.
