The ones I have easily cover the whole DJ and all I have to do is cut them off if they are a bit too long, I am with TN here, hate seeing a DJ that is not fully covered.

It's just boards all the way around, there is no 1/4 cloth around the binding. That cloth is just an addition on top of the boards anyway, it doesn't do anything other then decorative, that I know of.
