I haven't been to the theater in some time. It was a small joy to get back to watching the big screen.
Not your typical Liam Neeson movie....

I see where you are coming from, but I do understand the director's reasoning for leaving out the other brother. He thought including a 3rd suicide would just be too much.[/QUOTE]
The 3rd suicide...
Viewed "The Iron Claw" a couple of days ago. Somber movie about the tragedies that befall the Von Erich boys as there father essentially forces them into entertainment wrestling in the 1980's.

You must be the last person in the USA to have it. Get well soon.
I'm taking 3 days off to view it...
Christy Lemire from Roger Ebert.com gave it 2 stars and says among other things:
"It’s ironically apt that “The Creator,” about the potential and peril of artificial intelligence, merely...
No. I saw the movie, and probably wouldn't even had posted a review, but seeing it get a 10/10 compelled me to post my own opinion.
See it for yourself and let us know what you think.
The Creator:
Pure rubbish that has human audiences rooting for AI and robots over humanity.
1/6 on the RFSRS
Viewed it today on large screen format.
Enjoyed it for what it is. All I ask is to be entertained for 2 hours. And this film delivered.
I give it 5/6 beers on the RFSRS.
I'm not an avid fan of his work, but I'm not a hater either.
Asteroid City-Lots of hype about this movie, and numerous good reviews. I found it boring and not funny. The Director seems to wrangle a bunch of A-list movie actors to appear in the show, bit it...

A local reviewer said having a bad actor play two versions of himself made it twice as excruciating.
Somewhere upthread I mentioned Infinity Pool and how much I enjoyed it. I either gave it 4 or 5 beers out of 6 on the RFSRS.
EDIT: Post 10,780
I gave it 4.5/6 Beers
My spoiler covered what was...
At ~3 hours it was entertaining to see 1,623 people killed?
Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre:
Stupid lengthy title that is tough to recite when someone asks "what's the most recent movie you watched?"
BTAIM, a rather obtuse plot...
A Man Called Otto:
Predictable, maudlin yet well acted and tender.
4/6 Beers on the RFSRS
Damn. Does anyone here get out to see a movie?
Viewed "Knock at the Cabin" today.
Incredibly nuanced performances by the "giant" Dave Bautista, and young actress Kristen Cui. The trailers reveal the premise so no need to rehash that.
Great...
I haven't seen Possessor.
Thanks for the heads up on the correct name and spelling for Skarsgård.
